this weekend i got this sweet book about plants. it's from the 50's so i wasn't sure if i could trust it's advice entirely becase i don't know if they use the same lingo in planting things now as then. or something. anyway, the point is that they had some sweet ideas and i finally know how to properly care for my house plants which are somehow still alive despite my lack of fancy soiling, watering, and temperaturing. i also found out that most of them are succulants! delicious! here's an example of this sweet garden in a bottle that was in the book that i want to try and do.
