all quiet on the eastern seaboard

nothing too zany has happened lately which is pretty sweet. it's good to have quiet (possibly boring) periods in life because it means people are okay for now. one thing that rules is this tomato. it's the first one i've grown on my own. it required almost zero effort:

p.s. yesterday i went shopping and the cart wrangler was walking in and i pretended like i was going to take my cart back, you know, just in case he was on break or something, and he was like, "i'll take it." and i was like, "thanks." omg, like, i know, right?!
