today i went to the stihl lumberjack fest. there was a disappointing number of "classic" lumberjacks there, but i did see a foot and a half long white beard. danny brought me a granny smith apple, and then we went to eat vietnamese sandwiches. he and ted were telling funny jokes and one of the punchlines was: who's that tiny baby man?

we went to that a couple of years ago, it was amazing how many mullets we saw...we enjoyed it!
Man! That sounds so fun! I went to the world beard and mustache competition this year in Anchorage and it was one of the wisest choices of the year so far.
ps. I also cut down trees for an entire 2 months one year and wore a Stihl hat that my boss got with his saws!
Vietnamese sandwiches! We made some on our own and they were SUPAR good! Why did it take me moving thousands of miles to uncover their deliciousness???
