2. i saw lots of little animals today. this squirrel was literally 4 ft from my head when i walked out the door, and froze when i came out. i was like, "hey little dude," in a voice presumably belittling to a squirrel and he of course didn't respond. i also saw two different dogs in cars, eyes closed in ecstasy as they drank in all the aromatic delights of the warmer day.
3. our landlord came to fix some stuff and we're getting a new microwave! it still works fine but the handle fell off. ain't that a shame? no, seriously though. apparently they just don't sell handles.
*a note on #1. i didn't eat all that food, but i feel like buffets are so busted i don't feel bad about extravagantly eating a couple bites of each thing. also, the blue gelatin thing was not mine, but i wanted to document it just in case my dad gets food poisoning. fingers crossed!

Funny thing...the only time I've ever been to the Uptown Buffet was with MY dad!
And I'm pretty sure he left with a gut bomb that day.
Lesson learned: always stay away from the questionables.
