mystery bird!

okay, so thanks to some loaner feed from the doob
we filled up our bird feeder and lo and behold:


ta da! so i tried to find out what it was and did
this cool little bird quiz
and it identified the bird as:

but that just doesn't seem to add up.
wouldn't every bird look better in a tiny top hat?


anyway, one other wonderful thing i recently
discovered was that my favorite living country
star laura cantrell still has a radio program on
wfmu and she's so amazing. stellar taste, awesome
